Command Technology Of Maryland - Quality
Quality is an issue at any company. The inspection department is a revolving door.
I personally worked there I should know. No one likes a micro manager and that is exact what the owner does and then some. In the short time I was there the lead CMM Programmer left the Quality Manager of 20+ years left and after I left the Quality Director came looking for a position at the company I went to. You can't rush quality.
It is called QC for Quality Control not Quantity Control. Cheating people out of pay, not paying you what you are worth are just a part of it. Hole positions out .050 or more on a $250,000 assembly and I was told to accept it as is. Another words it was not going to be dispositioned for the customers review.
That is only the beginning. Wish I didn't have to even put this place on my resume. Look elsewhere if you want quality work done. The machinist are a great bunch there and this is not an attack on the quality of there work.
This is just the attitude towards how the company is run. That starts at the top and at this company there is only one person at the top.
Command Technology Of Maryland Pros: Co-workers.
Command Technology Of Maryland Cons: Management by the owner, Not a quality minded owner.
